Welcome to the Little Black Book Project blog. I thought it might be a good idea to create a place where we can all stay in touch and toss around ideas while we're working on our books. There are 120 Little Black Books out there and I'm really excited to see how all the different themes will be interpreted.
I found it interesting that for the most part people ended up with themes that they were excited about or that resonated with them. For others there was a delayed reaction. Myself included. When I first read the theme "she couldn't stop watching.." I was not immediately taken with it. But after awhile my brain kicked in and I started imagining all the different ways it could be portrayed. We are compelled to watch things that fascinate us but equally intrigued by things that repulse. Either way we are driven by emotion and sometimes by a desire to make sense of what we see. Whether it's comic, tragic, romantic or bizarre we all have moments when we just can't stop watching. When was the last time it happened to you?
